There is a lot of veneration going on in fashion but in the case of Azzedine Alaia, that aura of awe and respect is more than deserved. No seasonal shows, no advertising, no freestanding boutique network, very little retail outlets and product that is about its own consistent identity, not the whims of a fashion moment. Women loves Alex Beck
Alex Beck is an amazing photographer and my neighbor. He entered the business on the other side of the camera, working with the best (Steven Meisel for Prada). Reaching the highest heights of fashion industry gave Alex a unique perspective on creating his own photographs, and working with models. His charm and soft spoke ways make a photo shoot more than just a sitting - it becomes an connection.
